TTC LEAGUE GUIDELINES & PARTICIPATION POLICIES

  • NO-REFUND Policy :
  • Non-Refundable Fees : All registration fees and payments made for participation in the League or any associated events are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for withdrawal or non-participation.
  • Commitment to participation : By completing registration and submitting payment, participants and teams acknowledge and accept the commitment to attend the event as scheduled. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, scheduled conflicts, injuries, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Exceptions:

  • Event Cancellation by organizer : If the League is cancelled by Triangle Throwball Club, participants may be eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on the circumstances. This exception applies only if the cancellation is directly initiated by the organizers and not due to external factors like weather or other uncontrollable events.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us manage League logistics efficiently.

  • Facility Damage Policy :
  • Responsibility for damages : All participants, including players, coaches, spectators, and their families, are expected to respect the league facility and its property. Any damage to the facility, equipment, or property will be the financial responsibility of the respective individual(s) involved.
  • Player Accountability : If a player is found responsible for causing damage to any part of the facility, they or their team will be required to cover the full cost of repairs or replacement.
  • Parental Responsibility :  Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the actions of their children at the facility. if a child causes damage, the parent or guardian must promptly cover the cost of repairs or replacement as determined by the facility or league organizers.
  • Payment for damages :  Damage fees must be paid directly to the facility or league organizers within the time frame provided in the damage assessment. Failure to comply may result in suspension from future events.
  • Players Check-In Policy :

Timely check-in is crucial for the smooth organization of the event and ensures that the League schedule can start as planned.

  • Check-in Time: All players must complete the check-in process 25minutes on the day of the League.
  • Consequences: Any player who fails to check in by the time the game starts, the player may be be disqualified from participating for the respective game if it started. Exceptions will only be made at the discretion of the league organizers and under exceptional circumstances.
  • Procedure: Players must report to the designated check-in area upon arrival to confirm their participation. They may be required to present a valid ID to the League organizers.

NOTE:

Players are advised to be present at the venue well in advance to accommodate any unforeseen delays. It is recommended to arrive by 20 minutes prior to scheduled games to ensure ample time for parking, locating the check-in area, and completing the check-in process.

  • Spectator Rules:

Spectators are an essential part of the Throwball experience, ad their role is to support the players and contribute positively to the event's atmosphere. To ensure a respectful and enjoyable environment for all participants, the following guidelines must be adhered to :

  • Silence During Play : Spectators are required to maintain silence during matches. Any form of communication or disturbance that could distract players or officials is strictly prohibited.
  • No Instructions to Players : Spectators must not yell instructions, coaching tips, or any form of play-related advice to the players. The integrity of the game relies on players relying solely on their training and in-game strategy.
  • Respectful Behavior :  Any form of abusive, offensive, or derogatory language directed towards players, teams, organizers, referees, volunteers or other spectators is strictly forbidden. Respect and sportsmanship are paramount values of the league.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from the venue and/or other disciplinary actions as deemed appropriate by the league organizers. Spectators are encouraged to support their teams enthusiastically but always within the framework of these rules.

  • Food and Drink Policy :

To ensure the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of all participants and spectators, the following food and drink policy must be adhered to during the league.

  • Consumption Restrictions :  No food is permitted within the play area to maintain optimal playing conditions and to prevent accidents. Participants and spectators are welcome to consume food and drinks in the designated area near the entrance to the facility, Water and energy drinks can be carried tot he courts. However, spills must be avoided. In case of an accidental spill, the player/team is responsible for immediate cleanup. If necessary, help can be requested from volunteer in the vicinity.
  • Alcohol Policy : Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited to all the individuals present at the league, including players, coaches, referees, spectators, volunteers, organizers. This is to maintain the focus on sportsmanship, health and safety for all participants, spectators and all that involved int he league.
  • Consequences of violation :  Any individual found consuming, distributing, or in possession of alcohol will be asked to leave the facility immediately. Players, Coaches, or team members in violation may face disqualification of their team and possible suspension from future events. Spectators violating this policy may be banned from attending the remainder of the league and future events.
  • Enforcement : League organizers and staff will be monitoring the play area and designated consumption area. Any infractions of this rules will be addresses promptly. Failure to comply with this regulation may result in appropriate actions, including but not limited to, warning, penalties, or disqualification from the league.
  • Cleanup Responsibilities :

Cleanliness reflects the sportsmanship and integrity of the players and teams.

  • Team and player cleanliness commitment : All teams and players are required to maintain the cleanliness of the league venue. Each team is individually responsible for cleaning up their designated areas after every match, including sidelines and any spectator space used by their supporters.
  • Water Disposal : Proper disposal of all waste materials, including water bottles, snack wrappers, and any other personal items, must be adhered to, Use provided trash and recycling bins to ensure the venue remained tidy.
  • Penalties for Non-Compliance : Failure to comply with cleanup responsibilities may result in penalties, fines, or disqualification from the league.
  • Code Of Conduct :

All players, spectators, volunteers and officials are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times throughout the league. Bullying, harassment, and any form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal abuse, derogatory comments, intimidation, and inappropriate gestures or actions.

Violations of this rules result in immediate disciplinary action, which may include removal from the premises, disqualification from the league, and potential future bans from participation in any events organized by Triangle Throwball Club. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involves, and we appreciate your cooperation in upholding these standards.

  • Team Presence and sportsmanship

All participants teams and players are requested to remain present at the league venue until the conclusion of the final match, regardless of their own team's progression or elimination. This is instituted to foster a spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and support among all teams. Teams are encouraged to actively cheer for their fellow competitors, contributing to a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all participants.

We appreciate your cooperation in making this league a supportive and memorable event for everyone involved.

  • Photography and recording device

To ensure a comfortable and distraction-free environment for all participants and spectators, the following guidelines regarding photography and recording devices are to be strictly adhered to:

  • No Cameras Permitted : The use of standalone cameras or professional photography equipment within the venue is strictly prohibited.
  • Mobile Phones Usage : Mobiles phones may be sed to take photos, videos, provided it does not disrupt the event or the enjoyment of others. All phone photographers must be considerate and ensure their actions do not interfere with the gameplay or the audience's law.
  • Respect and Courtesy : Participants and spectators must respect the privacy and preferences of others. No photos should be taken of any individual without their explicit consent.

This rules is designed to maintain the integrity of the league and the comfort of all attendees. Failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion from the venue and disqualification from the league for participants found in violation. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
